Overstand is a parametric CAD tool for designing neck geometry for arched stringed instruments. It is provided free of charge, as-is, for educational and design exploration purposes.
The calculations, dimensions, and templates produced by Overstand are for reference only. You are responsible for verifying all measurements before using them in instrument construction. We make no warranty that the outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
We are not liable for any damage to materials, instruments, or other losses resulting from use of this tool.
You may optionally sign in with Google to access cloud features. By signing in, you agree to:
Instrument profiles you save belong to you. When you share a profile via a link, you grant us permission to host that shared snapshot so others can view it. You can delete your saved profiles at any time.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice for significant changes, but this is a free side project, not a commercial service.
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
